ME Visual designs and creates award winning Baladna Stand for Agriteq 2018!

ME Visual was approached to pitch for the design and creation of an exhibition stand for the Agriteq 2018 show: Qatar’s principle event for the agricultural sector, for which, Baladna was the key sponsor.

The brief was simple – the booth should be proud, imposing, re-usable and easily identifiable as the main attraction / showpiece of the event.

Our design team came up with a 288 square metre rustic barn concept, complete with a metal Silo, which would be used as a storage/cleaning room. Baladna loved it and gave us the go ahead to bring our proposal to life.

The entire stand would require over 3500 planks of timber and would need to be constructed in our workshop in under 7 days. Then, it would have to be installed on site in under 3 days.

Challenge Accepted!

This project involved various elements of our expertise, as they often do. Structural design, Carpentry, Joinery, Metal fabrication, LED Signage fabrication, Lighting, Digital LED Wall displays and Large Format Digital Printing to name a few. Every element of furniture including upholstery is also custom made in our workshop.

Here are some more pictures of the finished stand just as we were applying some finishing touches, cleaning and loading stock in the various display areas. We love the way the natural honey rose colour of our timber, gloriously compliments the corporate colours of Baladna.

Just like that, the stand was completed, used and dismantled within a matter of days. Events and stands like these come and go, however this line of work is truly satisfying when you see your teams’ collective ideas and ingenuity realised in their full physical glory.
